akp to deliver smart working projects across RoS Estate
Construction, refurbishment and fit out contractor akp Scotland has been appointed to work with Registers of Scotland (RoS) on a programme of small to medium works across the RoS Estate.
akp will be delivering projects which will focus on the implementation of smart working principles across all aspects of the business, including working practices, technology, culture and the physical office environments.
Phased refurbishment will be undertaken at Meadowbank House to reconfigure the premises to provide flexible workspace which will accommodate changes in the activities to be undertaken by RoS employees in line with the business strategy and the digital transformation.
The future fit out projects will provide excellent working environments together with innovative design and efficient use of space.
Ian McEwan, akp joint managing director, said: “We are proud to be part of this programme of works with Registers of Scotland. The Smart Working principles and technologies that are being incorporated into commercial spaces in recent years are not only exciting to deliver as a contractor, but also offer a great sense of pride when we see the benefits these smart working environments make to a workforce.”
Overbury and Clark Contracts have also been appointed to the framework.
