Approval granted for new Inverkip homes

Merchant Homes has secured planning permission for a proposed new residential development in the coastal village of Inverkip.

Langhouse Gardens will be a collection of 32 contemporary homes comprising a mix of three-bedroom semi-detached and three and four-bedroom detached homes, all of which have been designed to Merchant Homes’ exacting standards.

Three of the four housetypes introduced at Langhouse Gardens, will feature an exclusive new Merchant Homes’ housetype design. Each of the three new properties will include a master en-suite with the larger of the four bedroom homes, The Skye, including two en-suites as well as a garage.

Located on Langhouse Road within the Inverclyde village, properties within the boutique development have been designed to ensure homes are both in keeping with and complement the picturesque setting of Inverkip.

Linda McLuskie, sales and marketing director for Merchant Homes, said: “This is an exciting milestone for what will be a truly unique development.

“Following on from our popular Kirn Gardens development in Gourock, we’ve worked hard to ensure plans for these new homes remain consistent with the luxury design we are known for, whilst enhancing the existing landscape.

“Our extensive experience in the Inverclyde market, and an outstanding reputation for the careful creation of new communities, will ensure Langhouse Gardens is an attractive addition to the local community while appealing to a variety of homebuyers.

“We look forward to releasing more details of our plans for Langhouse Gardens as they progress.”

Work on the new development will begin in spring 2019.
