Arc-Tech delivering building services works at Perth City Hall

A £2.8 million building services package is being deployed to transform the building into one of the UK’s leading heritage and arts attractions with the creation of a new museum and space for touring exhibitions.

Arc-Tech (Scotland) is working on behalf of main contractor BAM Construction, in partnership with hub East Central Scotland, to advance the installation of Mechanical and Electrical works at Perth City Hall.

Arc-Tech’s list of services includes the installation of air conditioning, ventilation, gas, LTHW and CHW, as well as all lighting, security, fire and data systems.

Construction commenced in February-2021 with a formal launch set to be undertaken in 2024.

John Gallacher, Arc-Tech managing director, said: “Perth City Hall represents one of Arc-Tech (Scotland)’s largest-ever contracts and we thank BAM and Hub East Central Scotland for their continued support since our appointment.

“The project will become a valued asset to the city of Perth and the tourist industry of Scotland. Our progress on-site to date has been very positive and our focus will be to maintain our leading quality standards and customer service as we move towards contract completion.”

Jim Ward, BAM Construction regional director, added: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Arc-Tech (Scotland) Ltd once again and we look forward to our partnership delivering a first-class facility for Hub East Central Scotland and Perth and Kinross Council.”
