Business Fours teeing off for Construction, Housing & Property professionals

Scotland’s national business golf tournament Business Fours returns in 2018 with its Spring season after the success of last year’s inaugural tournament.

With five industry qualifying heats taking place ahead of the national final in St Andrews the date for Construction, Housing & Property professionals is Thursday 26th April. The event is being held at the Championship course at MacDonald Cardrona supported once again by industry partners, Scottish Construction Now, Scottish Housing News and the Scottish Property Federation.

Companies will be playing for their own chosen charity with the eventual winners collecting Business Fours 10% donation for their chosen charity, a model that has proven very successful with Business Fives having raised almost £40,000 for charities across Scotland since launching less than two years ago.

Business Fours events have the distinct aim of bringing companies across Scotland closer together with fourballs being split up to increase networking opportunities. This was summed up perfectly by a player from last year’s event, Scott Hunter, solicitor from Turcan Connell, who said: “Good mix of business contacts; good golf course; good food; really good format that gets you speaking with new contacts in a relaxed setting.”

Companies like Stewart Milne Homes, CBC and Malcolm Hollis are involved so far and you can find additional info on the Construction, Housing & Property heat on our website here.

Tournament founder John McClarey said: “We are looking forward to building on the success of our 2017 events and the aim is to double the £4,660 raised for charity last year.

The feedback from the events was fantastic and we hope to continue to enable our clients to make lasting relationships through our golf events. We’re delighted to be taking in two new cities for Business Fours and are very much looking forward to hosting our Construction, Housing & Property event alongside our very supportive partners.”
