Glasgow based construction company CCG has been recognised at the prestigious Herald Property Awards for Scotland for the second year running.

The company picked up an award for Affordable Housing Development of the Year for working with Sanctuary Housing Association as part of a co-ordinated approach to the regeneration of Anderston.

The development is part of the 5-phase regeneration which will take place over a 7-10 year period with a total investment of £50m creating around 480 new flats. CCG are currently working to complete the third phase of the regeneration project in 2015.

The award comes after its work on the Commonwealth Games Athlete’s Village as part of the City Legacy Consortium won the Best Regeneration Project at last year’s ceremony.

CCG director Calum Murray said: “We are delighted to receive this award from such a prestigious competition and are very proud of the projects we received nominations for. Here at CCG we are focused on investing in our talent, skills base and partnerships and are always striving to achieve the best results for our clients. To be commended two years in a row is very satisfying for the whole team.”

The awards, sponsored by the Wheatley Group, were held at Glasgow’s Oran Mor on Thursday 25th September.
