Scottish Construction ConventionScottish Construction Now has teamed up with the Scottish Construction Convention to give away FREE tickets to an event which promises to take a comprehensive look at the reality of implementing BIM into construction organisations, both large and small.

The BIM Convention will be held at the Glasgow City Hotel, Cambridge Street, formerly The Glasgow Thistle Hotel on Thursday 22 October 2015.

To win a pair of tickets to the event simply answer the following question.

When will BIM Level 2, for public contracts be introduced in Scotland?

Email your entries to event organiser Paul McDevitt at paul@businessfix.co.uk.

Last week’s winner was Charles Strang at Charles Alexander Strang Associates.

The Convention will give business leaders, from across the construction industry, direct access to other business leaders who have already embarked on their BIM journey.

Each speaker will share their own experiences and give their unique perspective of the reality of BIM, which will enable attending business leaders to make informed decisions. They will hear first hand, what are the challenges and pitfalls to introducing BIM, what they need to know and what they need in place to ensure successful introduction and application.

Attendees will also be able to put their questions directly to the panel of experts which so far include keynote speaker David Philp, chair of Scottish BIM Delivery Group, The Main Contractors Perspective from Andy Walker business unit design manager & BIM core team lead and design management at Morgan Sindall Construction, The practical application of BIM by Graham Stewart, the UK Head of BIM at Ramboll, and The Legal Perspective on BIM from Shona Frame, Partner, Construction at CMS Cameron McKenna LLP.
