Contract Authority: Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Regimental Museum

Details: The works to the museum extend to all areas of the Argylls occupation but focus upon the public museum areas. Public access is to be extended into the ground floor of the Kings Old Buildings (KOB) and as such requires a new external doorway to be formed and two new stair cases inserted into the building.

It is the stairs that form the largest and most complex areas of construction, followed by; removal of walls in the centre of the plan and other structures; re-servicing throughout; fire doors and fire protecting elements; joinery and actuation of windows and blinds; finishes and some conservation level specialist decoration works.
