Details: North Ayrshire Council requires Wall Repairs and Additional Cremation Plots at Ardrossan Cemetery, Sorbie Road, Ardrossan, KA22 7PD. The site for the works is the existing operational Ardrossan Cemetery. Tenderers should take cognisance of the day to day operations of the cemetery and to minimise any disturbance to staff and members of the public. Tenderers should include for any costs associated with minimising disturbance.

The works comprise but are not limited to:

1. a)         Demolishing and removing existing sandstone rubble walls to internal boundaries including working around existing headstones and memorials
2. b)         Infilling areas where old walls removed with soil and providing grass turf to these areas
3. c)         Restoration and repairs to remaining masonry and brick boundary walls
4. d)         Constructing new sectional masonry walls and building in existing wall memorials and monuments
5. e)         Providing extension to cemetery forming additional cremation plots and associated roads and paths.
