TENDERS

Contract Authority: Perth & Kinross Council

Details: Perth and Kinross Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to carry out environmental improvement works at the town square in Aberfeldy, Perthshire.

Works include, but are not limited to, pavement and carriageway re/construction including natural stone slabbing/kerbing and asphaltic materials, drainage, street lighting work, installation of street furniture, signing and lining, soft landscaping and tree planting. The Works are fully described in detail in the Specification and Contract Drawings.

The aim is to provide a high quality townscape using materials that are in keeping with the Highland location. The design promotes use of Scottish stone, resulting in low mileage, reduced delivery timescales and other environmental impacts like pollution costs. The use of local stone endorses policies outlined in the PKC draft Placemaking Guide.
