Cube lodges plans for new Dumbarton homes

Cube Housing Association has announced plans to build 31 houses for social rent in Dumbarton.

Subject to planning and other approvals, work on the homes in Carrick Terrace is expected to start in April 2016.

Flats on the site were demolished and the site cleared around two years ago.

The homes have been designed by Mast Architects in Glasgow.

A strategic partnership between West Dunbartonshire Council, Cube Housing Association and its parent organisation Wheatley Group, plans to deliver 300 new affordable homes in West Dunbartonshire over the next three years.

The partnership has already seen 33 homes built at ‘The Scholars’ in Clydebank and 54 flats at Beardmore Place in Dalmuir.
