Infrastructure managing director Nick Salt is leaving the business as part of the group-wide restructure.

The company confirmed the reorganisation earlier this year as it set out plans to reduce its construction activity by nearly a third and close its Scottish infrastructure business unit.

The move comes amid an anticipated £30 million to £40m drop in full-year exceptional profits due to restructuring costs and additional provisions for loss-making contracts.

The single largest element in adverse settlements relates to delays on the £1.4 billion Queensferry Crossing project with the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) joint venture also contributing to losses. 

According to reports, Galliford Try confirmed the departure of Nick Salt in an email to staff.
