Glasgow city centre success for Project Management & Construction Ltd

Project Management and Construction LtdProject Management and Construction Ltd is toasting a record breaking May with over £6.5 million worth of orders having been secured.

Contracts secured include a number of high profile refurbishment and conversion projects in Glasgow city centre, uppermost of which is the £1.7m refurbishment of one of the best known buildings in Glasgow, the former Odeon Cinema on Renfield Street.

The wins follow a successful 2015 where the company took the turnover of the business to over £11m.

Project Management and Construction’s commercial director, Allan Cockburn, said: “Although we work throughout the United Kingdom, as a business based in the West of Scotland it is always nice to walk through Glasgow and see so many sites with our signs up. We are particularly proud to be associated with a project to bring one of the most iconic city centre buildings back to life.”

The business, wholly owned by Allan and his business partner Allan McMahon, will be celebrating its 9th anniversary in July and is doing so with a major uplift in turnover in 2016, with work secured already greater than all of 2015.

Mr McMahon said: “These successes are testament to both to the basic principles of fair and open business practice that we adhere to as well as the excellent commitment of our staff over the last few years. The former Odeon building, along with the completion of the South Rotunda building are as high profile projects as it is possible to perform in Glasgow, but all of our projects, no matter where, will enjoy equal attention as we see them all as having equal importance.”
