The Paisley-based construction group has supported Cash for Kids for more than ten years but has dug particularly deep this year, to give the substantial donation and bumper collection of toys and food in a bid to lift the spirits of children who need the most help across Glasgow and the West.

John Horne, managing director of The JR Group, is incredibly passionate about the business’s role to play in supporting the charity year after year, said: “It is our firm belief that no child should be hungry or go without a toy this Christmas, so this is the key time for ourselves and our partners to come together and really help make a difference to those most vulnerable.

We managed to collect thousands of toys, clothes and food parcels this year and was have raised more than £30,000 which we believe will go a long way in improving the lives the most vulnerable children within our communities.

We have also pledged some great auction prizes including signed tops and boots from Ryan Jack and Kieran Tierney, and two four ball experiences – one with myself and Alan MacGregor and the other myself and Scott Brown.

We have supported Cash for Kids for a decade now and have seen first-hand the help and support it can offer families across the region. It is a very worthy cause, and we hope our contribution goes some way towards spreading some joy this Christmas. I would like to thank our team and our business partners and their colleagues for helping this year’s drive and making it such a success.”
