Keltbray expands sheet piling operation into Scotland

Keltbray-Sheet-Piling-CamdenKeltbray Group has announced an expansion of its sheet piling division into Scotland.

First launched 12 months ago from its headquarters in Surrey, Keltbray Sheet Piling is now also operating from the Keltbray Structures offices in Bathgate as part of the planned business growth strategy.

Keltbray Sheet Piling offers engineering, construction, demolition, decommissioning, remediation, rail, environmental services and reinforced concrete frame solutions. It is one of only six contractors in the UK with the vibration-free WP150 Stillworker.

The provision of driven steel piling services was a progressive expansion of Keltbray’s geotechnical services and Keltbray Sheet Piling offers sheet piling as an integral part of the Group’s portfolio, as well as a stand-alone service for external clients.

Andy Appleton, managing director of Keltbray Sheet Piling, the intention was always to grow the business into a nationwide venture.

He added: “This combination allows us to provide a unique offering through the integration with Keltbray’s own engineering design consultancy, Wentworth House Partnership, Keltbray Structures, Keltbray Piling and the other Keltbray Group services. Our UK-wide offering now includes all aspects of driven steel piling, including; temporary and permanent works design, supply, installation and extraction of steel sheet piles, welded steel framing, anchors and other associated works.”

Jamie Miller has been appointed contract manager to grow the business in Scotland.

An office in the north of England is also set to open in the New Year.
