Located at the Victoria Hospital, the centre will provide outpatient areas, inpatient and short stay ward areas, and a three-theatre surgical complex.

A contract was established with GRAHAM to become the Boards Principal Supply Chain Partner to manage the build in 2019. GRAHAM will be responsible for working with NHS Fife to establish a team to deliver the whole project from design through construction.

Construction work is expected to commence later this year and take 18 months to complete.
