The proposal by Marriot owned hotel brand Moxy is set for the site of a former golf driving range within the Royal Highland Showground site.

To be designed by Faithful + Gould, the new hotel would include a bar, conference, meeting rooms, café and food areas with associated landscaping and car parking.

A hotel proposed by Holiday Inn Express has already been approved to the west of the site.
