The Scotland team now has over 100 years of experience that includes the successful delivery of many major multi-million construction and specialist engineering projects across the UK.

Merit’s Glasgow office is supported by a national team located at the company’s Cramlington HQ and fabrication centres and its office in London.

This initiative signals Merit’s commitment to achieving significant growth in its Scottish business over the next five years. The company enjoyed 20% growth last year and was awarded ‘company of the year’ at the 2018 North East Business Awards.

Tony Wells, managing director, Merit Holdings, said: “This is a significant investment in our Scottish business and creates a strong platform for our plans to deliver continued growth over the next five years. Charlie, Steven and Rob are recognised experts in their field and bring an impressive track record of success. Their skills and experience bring a major boost for the team in Scotland.”
