Mott MacDonald has appointed David Webster as a director in its highways business in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

David will be responsible for developing the consultancy’s highways offering by growing its client base and delivering major projects across these regions.

With over 35 years’ experience in the transportation sector, David has an impressive track record in the study, procurement and delivery of projects. He joins Mott MacDonald from AECOM, where he led their 60-strong strategic highways Scotland team. David Tarrant, Mott MacDonald’s managing director for highways, said: “David’s in-depth knowledge of project management and delivery, commercial awareness and technical ability will make him a great asset to both our highways team and the wider Mott MacDonald Group. His extensive expertise in the management of outside parties, public and stakeholder consultation and the control of multi-disciplinary projects will be of real benefit as we look to grow our highways business in new areas.”
