New appointment: Contracts Manager – Bachy Soletanche

Geotechnical specialists Bachy Soletanche has invested for growth in Scotland with the appointment of Paul Doyle as new contracts manager.

Paul will be drawing on his 15 years of industry experience to help enhance Bachy’s presence across Scotland. Having worked for the company for eight years, he brings a wealth of knowledge in developing new business opportunities for the company.

A Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Aberdeen, Paul will be returning to Scotland to build on the company’s new business drive centred in the area.



He said: “Bachy Soletanche is responsible for a large number of high profile geotechnical projects across the UK, including Lee Tunnel, Crossrail, Beauly Denny, A77 Ayrshire and Edinburgh Tram. This investment in Scotland provides myself, and the wider company, with a unique opportunity to build on this reputation and ensure it is holistic across the UK.”

Paul added: “At present the construction industry is growing from strength to strength. Scotland is an area that offers huge commercial potential for the company and it is our intention to ensure we are developing on this and offering our innovative geotechnical solutions across the country.”

Bachy Soletanche used to have a full time presence in Scotland and with this appointment we are renewing this commitment to existing and future clients.
