New healthcare project win for Redpath
The healthcare team at Redpath Construction has been appointed by NHS Lanarkshire to carry out reconfiguration works at Kirklands Medical Education Centre.
The works comprise reconfiguration of lecture space to seminar room and offices including downtakings, structural steelwork, new flooring, partitioning and ceiling finishes, new services installations, above ground drainage, decoration, fitments and internal doors.
This is the team’s second project with NHS Lanarkshire, having completed the new 17-bedroom Trauma Facility in 2020 at University Hospital Wishaw.
Redpath has recently officially launched its Healthcare Service after completing a variety of projects for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, Lanarkshire and Ayrshire & Arran.
Stephen Bradley, healthcare manager, said: “We work collaboratively with Clinical Leads, Estates Teams, Design Teams and our specialist supply chain to maintain continuity of critical care services within our communities. By understanding the daily pressures of clinical teams, we can tailor our construction approach to ensure minimal disruption, whilst maintaining quality on site.”
