Robertson Timber Engineering has recruited two new technical sales managers to grow its business with key clients across the UK.

Andy Lewis will cover the central England region while Cameron Scott will cover Scotland and northern England.

The two will capitalise on the capacity and productivity of the recently refurbished factory in Seaham.

Significant investment has been made at the 40,000 sq ft facility, including an innovative suite of automated machinery.

Cameron Scott said: “The quality of Robertson Timber Engineering’s products is something I can really get behind, while the sustainability and strength of the Robertson business provides a stable platform for growth that presents an exciting opportunity.”

Barry Armstrong, Robertson Timber Engineering sales director, said: “I’m delighted to be welcoming Andy and Cameron to Robertson Timber Engineering. They have a huge amount of experience and a wealth of contacts, and will play a key role in helping us grow our business.

“These are exciting times in our industry. The market is now looking favourably towards timber frame and off-site construction. We have the capacity and structure in place to support that. With our extended team we are looking to reinstate our position as the UK’s go-to timber engineering contractor.”
