Quadruple graduation at Clark Contracts

Four Clark Contracts employees have graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with BSc honours degrees from the School of Engineering and the Built Environment.

The four graduates have been working with Clark Contracts whilst studying for their qualification having joined the company in 2016 to complete a six-month work experience placement.

Three are graduating with honours degrees in Construction Management and the fourth in Quantity Surveying.

Gordon Cunningham, Clark Contracts managing director, said: “Our four graduates have worked very hard with us over the last couple of years studying whilst gaining hands-on experience. We look forward to supporting them through their career and hope they continue their professional development by commencing our bespoke masters course at Glasgow Caledonian University.”



Clark Contracts annually offers work experience placements to Glasgow Caledonian University students from the School of Engineering and the Built Environment with six new students joining the company in May 2018. Students spend time working with experienced colleagues on live projects to gain hands-on experience.

The company works throughout the UK, employing over 250 employees and is number 21 on the list of the Best Companies to Work For in Scotland 2018. There are 60 employees currently studying towards formal qualifications through Clark Contracts Academy which was awarded the ‘Training Excellence’ award at the UK wide Construction News Awards in 2017.
