Robertson Engineering Services triples turnover in two years

Robertson Engineering Services teamAn expanding building services company has announced it has exceeded £10 million in turnover for the first time, as it makes three significant appointments to the business.

Gateshead based Robertson Engineering Services, part of infrastructure group Robertson, has grown rapidly since 2014, increasing turnover from £3.5m to well over £10m, and has plans for further growth.

To meet this growth in demand, three new team members have joined the business: Martin McCaskill as senior quantity surveyor, Lewis Reed as mechanical engineer and Len Craggs as electrical engineer to the team.

The business has also recently moved to new office space in Baltic Place on South Shore Road.

Darren Clarke, director at Robertson Engineering Services, said: “Within the experienced team there is vast knowledge of the diverse mechanical and electrical engineering built environment offering solutions that we have become recognised for. It’s this recognition of these capabilities that has enabled such structured rapid growth for the business.

“We provide a comprehensive service through a locally managed business, able to draw on our national resource from the construction group for major building projects. This combines national presence with local knowledge.”

Robertson Engineering Services is based in the North East of England, but delivers a full spectrum of mechanical and electrical services across the North of England, the Midlands and Scotland.

Directly employed engineers, managers and trades support both Robertson sister companies and external construction businesses.
