Spectrum West Ltd wants to build 16 four-bedroom detached and semi-detached houses at 95 Muirhead Road.

“The proposed scheme will complement and contribute to the local area providing additional high quality homes that meet the demand in the area,” the developer stated.

Previously occupied by the Loancroft facility, the site lies between Muirhead Road to the north west, the Muirhead Day Care Centre to the south west, open ground to the south east associated with Loancroft Avenue and existing two storey houses to the north.

The site has been recently cleared following the demolition of the former care facility with crushed materials spread evenly throughout, retaining a number of low level retaining structures and inspection chambers providing access to existing combined foul and surface water drainage from the Day Care Centre.
