19 new homes in Kinloch Rannoch approved in principle
Andrew Black Design has been granted planning permission in principle for 19 houses in Kinloch Rannoch.
The proposed community-led development for Rannoch Community Trust and Dunalastair Estate would provide 12 houses for affordable rent or purchase and seven houses for private rent or sale.
A rural housing burden will be attached to ensure low-cost home ownership houses remain affordable in perpetuity.
The plans include both 2 and 3-bedroom detached and semi-detached houses, with some designed as live-work units to provide opportunities for the creation of new rural businesses.
A landscaped area to the west of the houses will provide space for SuDS ponds, trees and soft landscaping, while a safe walking and cycling route connects a picnic area to the south to the B846 to the north, promoting active travel and connecting to existing green and blue networks.
