56three promotes Amy Wootton to head of interiors
Amy Wootton has been promoted to the role of head of interiors at 56three Architects.
Over the past two years, the Edinburgh-based practice has seen its Interiors division grow beyond expectations. The dedicated team, led by architects and interior designers, is now working with clients across a range of sectors, including multi-residential, office, retail, and leisure.
Amy, who joined the practice as an architect in 2018, has been integral to many successful interior-led projects across a range of sectors, including the recent repurposing of South Bridge in Edinburgh to form ‘pioneering’ accommodation for postgraduate students.
In her new role, Amy will lead the interior design team, overseeing projects and shaping the strategic direction of the team whilst fostering creative growth.
Amy has a particular passion for the adaptive re-use of existing buildings, and she is also committed to incorporating sustainable practices into her work.
56three Architects said: “We’re thrilled to announce the promotion of Amy Wootton to head of interiors. Amy has been at the forefront of our developments, bringing over five years of refurbishment and interior-led architectural experience to the team. She has a particular passion for providing new and sustainable solutions for existing buildings, and her vision and leadership have been instrumental in our success.
“Here’s to many more years of creativity and collaboration.”
