Physical risk management specialists ACS Group has appointed Iain Edmans to the new position of asbestos technical manager.

For several years, Iain headed a council-run asbestos and technical testing business, subsequently he owned and ran his own consultancy firm in London. He has extensive experience in working as group quality manager plus head of Scottish operations for a busy international asbestos testing lab.

ACS Group said: “We have no doubt that the role of Asbestos Technical Manager will offer solid support to our senior management team, allowing us to continue on our planned growth path.

“Although Iain will be based in our Glasgow office, he will be providing technical management support across all asbestos operations, including our operation in the South & West.

“Iain will be providing an additional layer of line management to the asbestos teams and will assist Roger, Martin, Emma and Christian in delivering the quality, technical and client management aspects of the business.”
