The projects include an exciting upgrade to a multi-disciplinary arts space in the west end of Glasgow, the alteration and refurbishment of a 7,000 sq ft industrial unit in the west of Edinburgh and a modern fit out within proximity of the Scottish Parliament.

This has arguably been the construction industries most challenging year, second only to the financial crisis of 2007, however despite this 2020 will be remembered as the year that saw akp reach the impressive milestone of 30 years in business, saw founding partner Ian McEwan take on the role of chairman, and welcomed new managing director Martin McColl into the firm to steer them through to the next chapter.

Mr McColl said: “I’m pleased to share that, despite the challenging times, we’ve had a strong close to 2020. It’s brilliant to be working with such a varied client base covering; arts, commercial and tech to support and nurture these organisation’s steady growth allowing them to attract the best talent.”
