The offices of Brodies LLP at the Category A listed 14-17 Atholl Crescent in Edinburgh is being refurbished by akp Scotland.

This Georgian crescent, with its twin Coates Crescent, were part of Edinburgh’s New Town western development and substantially completed by 1825. Both crescents face each other across the main approach road into west Princes Street and their fronting gardens provide a welcome splash of green in what is one of the busiest parts of town.

The traditional Georgian building will undergo a refurbishment which will involve strip out, alterations and reinstatement to upgrade the office area and meet modern requirements.

George Dilllet, akp Scotland business unit manager east, said: “The akp team are very excited about delivering this contract in such an iconic area of Edinburgh’s New Town and to Brodies whom we congratulate for their award as Scottish Law Firm of the Year. Akp has made a steady growth in Edinburgh and the wider central belt since the opening of our South Gyle office nearly 2 years ago. Our Building Pride ethos we feel sets us apart, we bring cost effective solutions, innovation and superior workmanship to our projects.”
