With a national network of 16 locations in the UK, Mobile Mini UK is a supplier of steel storage and accommodation units across numerous sectors including construction, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and education. Mobile Mini UK has approximately 42,000 units, 375 employees and an annual revenue of approximately £80 million.

Together, Algeco and Mobile Mini UK will create a temporary accommodation solutions business with a fleet of c82,000 units and 38 branches.

Algeco said the acquisition from a subsidiary of WillScot Mobile Mini Holdings Corp will further strengthen its market leadership and foster teamwork between the combined businesses.

“We will be able to better support customers with more comprehensive site accommodation and storage solutions, delivered fast,” it said.

It will help us further deliver the Algeco Vision to be the clear market leader in modular and temporary accommodation, operating as a trusted solutions adviser to customers.”

The transaction, which is subject to UK regulatory approval, is expected to close in Q1 2023.
