All change in Galliford Try boardroom
Galliford Try has confirmed that non-executive chairman Greg Fitzgerald formally stepped down from the Board on November 11 after 34 years with the business.
Announced in July this year, the departure marked the culmination of an orderly handover process that has taken more than two years.
Also as previously announced, non-executive deputy chairman and senior independent director Peter Ventress has been appointed non-executive chairman and has stepped down as a member of the audit committee.
Terry Miller, non-executive director, has been appointed senior independent director. Mr Ventress said “We would like to thank Greg for his very significant contribution to Galliford Try in his various roles including chief executive and chairman.”
