Allied Surveyors Scotland snaps up valuation surveyor from rival
Allied Surveyors Scotland has appointed Stewart Gorman as a valuation surveyor to its commercial department in Edinburgh.
Mr Gorman, 31, joins from the Stirling office of rival firm J&E Shepherd Chartered Surveyors where he was based for four years.
He will now work from Allied Surveyors’ office in the capital’s West Maitland Street providing commercial valuations to private clients and a range of commercial lending institutions.
“This is an exciting move for me to join a dynamic and expanding team and I look forward to providing a dedicated commercial valuation service for our wide range of clients,” commented Mr Gorman.
In March, Allied Surveyors announced the purchase of Edinburgh Commercial Property resulting in additional agency, valuation and property management instructions.
Iain Mercer, director of commercial agency (east) Allied Surveyors Scotland, said: “We are continuing to invest in our business and Stewart’s appointment represents a vital addition in our efforts to provide an unrivalled service to our commercial property clients.”
Allied Surveyors Scotland has 32 offices across Scotland including 5 commercial centres in Aberdeen, Dumfries, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness from where commercial valuation and agency services are provided.
