Alpha Scotland appoints industry expert
Furniture specialist Alpha Scotland has strengthened its corporate team with the hiring of an experienced and well-known industry professional.
Julie Low will be responsible for growing commercial clients for the company, which is part of the Belfast-based Alpha Group.
Julie’s own brand, H2H Workspace, will remain and be incorporated under the Alpha Scotland umbrella, marking the distinct capabilities and additional range of services she brings.
A qualified interior designer, Julie has worked in business development and sales for 25 years in the commercial office sector with clients including Scottish Power, Scottish Water, Morgan Stanley and BP.
Latterly she was business development director of Apleona Workspace, leaving last year to set up her own consultancy.
Julie Low said: “I have worked collaboratively with Alpha Scotland on a number of projects and when I was asked to join simply couldn’t turn down the opportunity. What Alpha offer and deliver is both impressive and inspiring and I look forward to being part of fantastic team and contributing to the company’s expansion in Scotland.”
Paul Black, group chief executive, added: “We’re delighted to have Julie on-board. As well as her commercial expertise, she has an ability to take in surroundings and analyse and improve the whole environment. Her holistic approach, combined with her knowledge and application of sustainable practices, is something from which current and future clients will derive huge benefit.”
