Amey adds two MDs to executive team
Public service provider Amey has announced the appointment of two new managing directors to its executive team.
Andy Halsall replaces David McLoughlin as managing director for utilities, while Craig McGilvray replaces Amanda Fisher as managing director of facilities management, defence and justice business.
Ms Fisher was promoted to CEO last month.
Andy Halsall is a former business improvement director at Mitie who has extensive experience in large business improvement projects.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I’m delighted to be joining Amey at a time when the business and wider sector are showing signs of enormous potential. I look forward to using my wealth of cross-sector experience to bring a fresh perspective and added strength to the utilities operations.”
Craig McGilvray is a former managing director at Balfour Beatty who brings with him two decades of executive level experience in the construction and engineering sectors.
He added: “I am delighted to have been appointed Managing Director of our Facilities Management, Defence and Justice business. I am assuming the leadership of an already successful business and look forward to growing the business further. I will be focused on working closely with our customers to deliver their outcomes which will enable us to continue with the current strong performance into 2020.”
Both appointments start their roles with immediate effect.
