An art student in London has decided to turn her depressing living situation into something constructive – or fermented.

Avril Corroon, who studies art at Goldsmiths, has taken samples from the most cursed fungal growths she could find in rented accommodation around London to make a selection of artisanal cheeses.

The creations for her final project serve as stinky reminders of just how terrible rented accommodation can be in one of the richest cities in the world.



Avril told Vice.com: “I want the whole installation to have sort of a sinister vibe to it. I think of the cheeses as if they were bait or a little trap for the landlord.”
