And finally… Bad actor
A Nigerian actress who took to social media to call out a construction company for allegedly doing a ‘shabby’ job is now facing legal action for defamation of character.
An aggrieved Bridget Moo flooded her Instagram page with several call-out posts as she accused Lagos-based construction company Homes By Vivachi of not delivering the project to her taste.
Bridget wrote in one of her call out posts: “Anyone else that thinks i did wrong by questioning #homesbyvivachi professionalism should try and build a dog house to feel and see if it’s easy to go through the Trauma of Renovating a New Building…One of our Top problem in Nigeria is not accepting our wrongs. If you think the company has done no wrong to humanity’. Then you should be mentally checked.”
The post was also accompanied by a video showing a portion of her building which was being worked on again.
Bridget also posted another video of her building showing some defects as she lashed out at the company for doing a terrible job even after she paid.
Another post captured an unsatisfactory exchange between Bridget and an official of the construction company. In a lengthy note that accompanied the screenshot, the actress stressed how the company wouldn’t have worked with her if they knew how much attention she pays to safety hazards. Bridget added that she purposely gave the job to a building company so as to have a say in the case that things go wrong. The enraged actress added that she has a lot of contacts who are involved in the construction company.
In yet another post, Bridget shared a photo showing the terrible condition of a wall in her new building. The actress in a different post also shared a photo of the company CEO and MD who are both husband and wife, as she lashed out at them.
Hours after her initial post, the actress shared pictures of court documents showing that the construction company has sued her over defamation of character.
