And finally… Birthday cake celebrates year-long road construction work
A woman from New Orleans baked a cake to mark a year since construction workers ripped up the road near her home.
Natalie Harvey shared images to her Facebook page of her sitting on the street with the cake in her hand that depicts a road under construction.
“It was one year ago this week when they first began to rip up our street. One year later, half the street is impassable- just last week, we had a massive, 6-foot deep hole,” she said in her caption.
The cake depicted a street under construction with Lego pieces used as workers. It also had a sign saying ‘Road Closed.’
