And finally… building interest

A Washington, D.C., homeowner has taken an unconventional approach to selling his home by including photos of a Lego replica in the listing.
Andrew Huddleston, a Lego enthusiast, created a miniature version of his four-story townhouse and decided to feature it alongside traditional images on the real estate website Zillow. The home is set to go on the market today.
Huddleston said his real estate agent supported the idea, believing it to be a unique way to attract attention.
The Lego project, which took several months to complete, began with base designs and blueprints of the house. Huddleston used pieces from his personal Lego collection and ordered additional bricks to match the color scheme. Stickers were used to replicate artwork on the walls, and he even included a smaller version of the Lego house within the build.
Huddleston, who rediscovered his interest in Lego during the COVID-19 pandemic, has previously created Lego portraits of television characters but had never designed a building before.
Graeme Dymond, a certified Lego professional in Toronto, said the project highlights the creative potential of Lego bricks and their ability to enhance marketing efforts. Dymond, who has worked on similar projects, noted that real estate agents have approached him for custom Lego builds to help showcase properties.
Huddleston has since relocated to Portland, Oregon, but plans to display the Lego replica of his former home once he is settled, CBC reports. He also expressed interest in constructing a Lego model of his new house in the future.
