And finally… Construction worker jumps on crane to escape burning building

A Danish construction worker escaped a building fire last week by climbing on a crane.
The man was seen hanging on a winch as he was moved to safety.
The fire had taken hold of the building in Copenhagen and at first it looked like there was no hope for the builder.
But tragedy was averted thanks to his quick-thinking colleagues on the ground who came up with the plan to use the crane.
The construction worker had been stuck on the roof of the building in Fjeldhammerveji, Rodovre.
In total two builders were rescued from the building.
No-one else was in there at the time.
The construction workers are currently recovering from their burns in hospital and their conditions are not thought to be life-threatening, according to Denmark’s TV 2 Lorry.
