And finally… Construction worker scoops $250,000 lottery win
A construction worker from Cary, Illinois has won $250,000 on a scratch-off lottery ticket.
Daniel Raudebaugh, 69, has lived in Cary for 25 years and decided to purchase an Illinois Lottery Lucky Loot ticket while stopping to get gas while on his way home from work. He plans to use his winnings to pay bills and will save the rest.
He bought the ticket, which is new Illinois Lottery ticket option, at a Mobil gas station at 1234 North Halsted in Chicago. The retailer received a $2,500 bonus, equal to one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
