And finally... construction worker wins £164k supercar

Ciprian Cocoveica

A construction worker has won a supercar worth £164,000 in a competition which cost him just 29p to enter.

Ciprian Cocoveica, from Basildon, won a Lamborghini Huracan in BOTB’s Supercar Competition.

Ciprian was at work on a building site when BOTB presenter Christian Williams showed up to surprise him with the car.

The shock proved too much for Ciprian, and he set a record for the most bleeps during the surprise because of his colourful language.

“Are you joking?” he giggled uncontrollably, shaking with excitement. “I’m lost for words! I’m dreaming.

“If you want the dream to come true, you’ve got to believe it and play the competition! I entered the competition last minute, and when I saw the Lamborghini, I thought why not?”

Christian then revealed the sleek Lamborghini Huracan, renowned for its cutting-edge design and blistering performance, parked just a few feet away. Ciprian couldn’t resist getting behind the wheel, gripping the steering wheel in disbelief before revving up the engine.

Despite his love for the supercar, Ciprian is planning on taking the cash alternative and using his winnings to visit his son.

Christian said: “Ciprian’s reaction was absolutely brilliant – it’s fair to say he was completely stunned!

“I think he’s officially set a record for the most expletives in a BOTB surprise reaction. Winning a life-changing amount of money or a supercar like this is what BOTB is all about. His son is going to be over the moon to see his dad – what an incredible moment!”
