Workers using heavy machinery at a major development called Wellen Park in Sarasota Count, have discovered shark teeth and fossils.

That’s drawn fossil hunters who have gone onto the site without permission, despite the site including large holes and other hazards.

Police have warned trespassers they’ll face charges if they ignore the warning signs.
