Quintain (Wembley Retail Park) Ltd requested the injunction because cranes on its site have attracted climbers who post footage of their exploits online.

Judge Jonathan Simpkiss at a High Court hearing in London was informed that several urban explorers have suffered fatal accidents while climbing cranes, and that the danger posed was real.

The injunction prohibits unknown persons from entering the site where homes are being built and will remain in force until the first phase of construction is completed in late July 2025.

The judge made it clear that the injunction could be challenged.
