Footage from the recently-built home in Meizhou, Guangdong province, shows that at least one part of the interior of the wall was filled with random items, including milk cartons and plastic cups.

In another clip, the property owner demonstrates how easy it is to scrap away the exterior of the wall, which is seen crumbling away like grains of rice.

The property management office has said that the original workers must have been responsible. The local housing ministry is now looking into the matter.
