And finally… laws of physics
Plans to install a statue of football legend Denis Law outside Aberdeen’s Hall of Heroes have been abandoned because the 4.5-tonne bronze statue is too heavy.
City officials are now looking for a new home for the statue after finding that its planned prominent spot was unworkable due to the underground car park beneath Marischal Square.
Culture spokesperson Marie Boulton told the BBC: “We have looked at a couple of sites and unfortunately the weight bearing on top of the car park underneath, there was an issue over that.”
The statue, by sculptor Alan Herriot, is scheduled to be unveiled next month.
