And finally… London office to boast indoor ‘cycle-in’ ramp
A new “cycle-friendly” office is opening in London.
The centrepiece of the Alphabeta Building - a refurbishment of the historic Triton Court in Finsbury Square, central London - is a dedicated entrance ramp which will allow cyclists to ride directly into the building.
It takes employees to a basement with bike racks and relaxation facilities, including a basketball court.
Project architect Dickon Hayward, from Studio RHE, said the development is London’s first “cycle-in office”.
The building is intended to connect Tech City with The City, attracting workers from both areas.
