WPLG Local 10 News reports that the man did not plan to go up the drawbridge but was simply strolling across the bridge naked at an unfortunate time.

Two firefighters climbed their way up, gave the man the shorts and brought him back down with a rope and harness.

A fire department official said: “Once you’re up there, I would imagine you realize that you don’t want to be up there anymore.”

“There’s no place to go. There’s no way to climb down.”
