And finally… on the lam
A mysterious artwork painted on the brickwork of the former Reading Prison is speculated to be a Banksy piece depicting its most famous inmate, Oscar Wilde.
The mural shows a prisoner rappelling down one of the prison’s exterior walls using paper from a typewriter as a rope.
It is painted in the typical style of street artist Banksy, but has not been officially claimed since appearing on Monday, Sky News reports.
Oscar Wilde spent two years in Reading Prison after his conviction for gross indecency in 1895. He subsequently wrote The Ballad of Reading Gaol.
