A construction worker had an ingenious solution to free a seagull whose foot was stuck on a building – using an umbrella to free the distressed bird.
Mal Swan, a crane operator in Dublin, captured video of the rescue, which he said took place on July 15.
“Poor seagull got its foot caught upside down on the building next door and was trapped for 30 minutes,” he told Storyful. “Luckily we managed to get a few lads up there. With the best use of an umbrella, they managed to free it.”
