“THE JET ZeroEmission” is described as a climate-friendly hydrogen-powered boat which will ‘fly’ 80cm above the waters at a speed of 35 to 40 knots.

Alain Thébault, yachtsman and leader of the project, said it is “going to be the world’s first boat to sail without noise, waves, or emissions”.

Its inaugural flight will take place during the COP28 UAE climate conference in Dubai in November 2023.
